CardBridge generates QR codes entirely on your device. No contact data is ever transmitted to our servers. We do not collect, store, or share your personal information.
What CardBridge Does
CardBridge generates scannable QR codes containing your contact information (vCard format). When you fill in the contact form and generate a QR code, all processing happens locally in your browser. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share the QR code image.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- No names, titles, companies, or contact details are transmitted to our servers
- No browsing history, location data, or device identifiers are collected
- No cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts are used in the extension
- No data is stored on SignalloomAI servers
- No third-party data sharing of any kind
Chrome Extension Permissions
CardBridge requests no special permissions. The extension runs entirely within the browser’s popup sandbox with zero network access required for core functionality.
- activeTab — Allows generating QR codes for the current tab’s content (optional)
- storage — Saves your last-used contact form entries locally (optional, browser-local only)
QR Code Image Sharing
When you download or copy a QR code image, you control how it is shared. The generated PNG image is yours to distribute as you see fit. SignalloomAI has no visibility into how or where you share it.
Analytics (Optional SignalloomAI Account)
If you create a SignalloomAI account to sync across devices or enable AI-generated marketing blurbs, your account data (email, saved contacts) is stored on SignalloomAI servers in accordance with our main Privacy Policy. This is separate from the extension’s local QR generation.
Children’s Privacy
CardBridge is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at signalloom-card.pages.dev/privacy-policy.html with an updated effective date.
